READING THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT IN 260 DAYS, ONE CHAPTER PER DAY.
Who was James?

There are many New Testament men named James, and there are several followers of Christ to had the same name. So, which is the writer of the book of James?Well, it could not be the James, the disciple, who was beheaded in AD 44. This James is undoubtedly the brother of the Lord. He was the head of the church in Jerusalem. He heads the list of brothers in Matthew 13:55.

He is oftern referred to in 1 Cor. 15:7, Gal. 2:9, Gal. 1:19, Acts 21:18, Acts 12:17, Acts 15:13, and Jude 1:1.
